In both my family and friend group, I take the pictures for everyone. Mostly because I will normally have my camera and because that's what I enjoy doing. I love the idea of having an actual image of a certain moment that you can always look back on whether its good or bad. I feel as our generation takes it too far now and we are too caught up on taking pictures or videos for social media instead of living in the moment.
ReplyDeleteBoth my mom and sister always take the same amount of pictures, and that's a lot of embarrassing and moment worthy pictures. To me these photos are extremely important. Photos fill that gap in my brain to help me learn about my childhood. Photos are a way for me to see how much I have grown.
ReplyDeleteI am usually the family member missing from most of our pictures. My family seems to take the most pictures on the days I am not there. I also am involved in a lot so I miss out on a lot of the family events. I am not very photogenic and I have little patience for lots of pictures so even when I am there, I do not always get in a lot of the pictures.
ReplyDeletein my friend group and family, i took most of the pictures because i love having my picture taken. When i take pictures, it has to be perfect lighting, perfect angle, and i have to have a good outfit. The only person that comes close to taking the same amount of picture as me is my mom and she can't take good pictures.
ReplyDeleteMy father takes the most pictures in my family. He normally takes the photos for our family because he has more talent when it comes to photography. Also it is because He enjoys it the most.
ReplyDeleteMost of the pictures in my family are of me and my sister, my parents are hardly ever in the images unless we are taking a professional family photo. My mom does not like having her picture taken so she is normally the one missing from most of our family photos that we do take.
ReplyDeleteI take the most pictures in my family. My dad has never been a "capture the moment" kind of person. He has one picture of me when I baby, and a couple of me as a young kid but that's about it. I'm not sure if he ever wishes that he would have taken more.
ReplyDeleteMy dad take most of the photos in my family. He absolutely adores taking of my sister and I no matter the occasion. He takes pictures on the first day of every day I've had of school since preschool. I think he wants to have the memories to have a piece of us no matter where he, or we may go.
ReplyDeleteMy mom probably takes the most pictures in my family. I think she does this because both of her daughters are growing up. I am about to graduate high school and go to college an hour and a half away from home, and her other daughter, my sister, is graduating college and trying to plan out her life. I think my mom just wants to capture the moments before they are gone. A way to be able to look back when older.
ReplyDeletePictures are super important to me. Anytime I do something with my friends or go out I take a picture. I´ll take pictures of anything, the sunset, my friends, food, flowers, or whatever sparks my interest. To me, pictures are memories. I love having a collection of pictures that remind me of a certain time, place, or person. Whenever I take one that makes me happy, even if isn´t the best, I´ll print it out and hang it on my bedroom wall.
ReplyDeletePhotos are extremely important to me because they show a memory, a moment in time in your life that will never be lived again. And you can see visual memories of that moment in time by looking at photos. I love looking at photos in my phone when I want to feel happy. In my family, I believe that I take the most photos currently. Whether it be of my pets, my family, my friends or my boyfriend and I, I love taking photos to remember a moment.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is the one who always take pictures for my family. There are play by plays for certain moments. Sometimes my mom doesn't always live in the moment because she is way too busy taking photos to capture them. I personally like to live in the moment although I love taking photos.
ReplyDeleteMy mom or grandma usually take all the pictures. They love it and can ALWAYS find an excuse to take one, even the most unimportant thing. But I can't complain because now I have all of these pictures documenting my life so far. I love sitting down and looking at all of them, it makes me realize how far I've come and how much farther I have to go.
ReplyDeleteMy dad takes most of the pictures in my family. He has his own camera and prides himself on the pictures he takes. Most of our photos come from when we are on family vacations and my dad likes to take pictures of my mom and I at different tourist spots. My dad is the one that is usually missing from all of the photos, but he claims it is worth it because he has so many pictures of my mom and I.
ReplyDeleteI take the most photos in my family. I recently got a a high quality cannon camera and i enjoy taking photos. I also don't like being in the pictures so i usually just take "candid" photos of my friends and family.
ReplyDeleteIn my family, my sister, Christian, is the one who usually takes all of the family photos. She is known for walking around the room with camera in hand ready to take a snap of anyone close to her. Even though she is the photographer of our family, she still puts herself in the photos. I love that about my sister, she always wants everyone to feel included.
ReplyDeleteI, by far, take the most pictures in my family. Since I have been practicing becoming a journalist, I take a lot of pictures for the stories I write on a daily basis. I love taking pictures of my family too, especially when my brother is playing baseball.
ReplyDeleteMy mother takes the most pictures in my family. Much like her mother did. I would like to say I won't be the same way but I know I will be. There are so many good moments to have
ReplyDeletePictures are of course important to me, as they are to probably everyone. Pictures capture memories, they give you something to look back on. Show for something, tell stories. Sometimes when I get bored I will go through my camera roll looking back, just makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteIn my family,I take most of the pictures. Whether it's a family photo or it is something our family wants to remember, I am behind the camera. This is mostly because I have a Canon 70 D, and my phone takes better pictures then their phones. But I also very much enjoy photography, so I don't mind being in charge of photographs.
ReplyDeleteI think photography is very important for many reasons. Fist of all, photographs capture moments of time through out history and our lives. We have insight into historical events we would have never known unless we were there. Like we are seeing through a different set of eyes. It also helps us to remember parts of our personal history that might have been forgotten. Special times and people are frozen inside photographs where the moment lives on so we can relive it whenever we like. Second of all, photography moves people. Mr. Bacon's exhibit was on of the most moving projects I have ever had the pleasure of viewing, and he did it with pictures of individuals. Photographs tell stories and make us connect emotions to them. We connect with the scene that is unfolding, or the reasoning behind the photo. Photographs have the potential to be very powerful.
My mother is the one who take all the pictures in my family. It can be kind of annoying because she always taking pictures and taking to many at one time. The person who is missing from most of our families photos is my older sister. She is away at college so she is not in a lot of the photos we have taken recently. All the photos we have are on our computer upstairs. They are organized from summer of 2006 to christmas 2016. One of my favorite things to is go through all the old photos on that computer.
ReplyDeleteMy mom definitely takes the most pictures in my family. My mom and my dad are always missing in the pictures. Either because they are taking the pictures of my brother and I, or because they just do not want to be in the picture. The pictures in our house are displayed in frames on the wall, or canvases. Mom used to scrapbook, but that was more of a thing when we were little. Photos are pretty important to me to remember important times in my life that I do not want to forget.
ReplyDeleteA lot of my family photos are hung up on the wall or put in frames and placed on shelves and the piano. We have this one wall that's covered in all the photos and quotes that my mom put up. Shes the one thats normally missing from photos unless she manages to take a selfie.
